WHY 19?
For me, 19 is not a brand or a decorative number. It is a sign pointing back to the QURAN. This page brings together where that sign appears in the QURAN and the mathematical examples presented in the supplied sources.
I · NINETEEN IN THE QURAN
The starting point is the text itself.
Sura 74:30 directly names nineteen. The following verse describes different responses to that number, while 74:35 calls it “one of the great miracles.”
Over it is nineteen.
We appointed angels to be guardians of Hell, and we assigned their number (19) (1) to disturb the disbelievers, (2) to convince the Christians and Jews (that this is a divine scripture), (3) to strengthen the faith of the faithful, (4) to remove all traces of doubt from the hearts of Christians, Jews, as well as the believers, and (5) to expose those who harbor doubt in their hearts, and the disbelievers; they will say, “What did GOD mean by this allegory?” GOD thus sends astray whomever He wills, and guides whomever He wills. None knows the soldiers of your Lord except He. This is a reminder for the people.
Absolutely, (I swear) by the moon.
And the night as it passes.
And the morning as it shines.
This is one of the great miracles.
A warning to the human race.
For those among you who wish to advance, or regress.

III · TWO CLOSER EXAMPLES
Seeing how the numbers connect.
19 × 142
The word “GOD”
Appendix 1 states that the total occurrence of the word “God” (Allah) is 2698, or 19 × 142. It also gives 118123 as the total of the verse numbers in which the word occurs, equal to 19 × 6217.
57 + 57 = 114
The Quranic initial Q
In Appendix 1’s Q example, the two Q-initialed suras, 42 and 50, are each stated to contain 57 Qs; together 114 = 19 × 6. It also notes that 42 + 53 and 50 + 45 both equal 95 = 19 × 5.
1:1–7
An example through The Key
The note for 1:1 in the Quran data at http://qurantft.com/ states that the Basmalah consists of 19 Arabic letters. The same data provides the verse number, letter count, and numerical value for each verse of Al-Fatiha in the table below.
| Verse | Letters | Gematrical Value |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 19 | 786 |
| 2 | 17 | 581 |
| 3 | 12 | 618 |
| 4 | 11 | 241 |
| 5 | 19 | 836 |
| 6 | 18 | 1072 |
| 7 | 43 | 6009 |
| Totals | 139 | 10143 |
SOURCE NOTE · Q / XIX
The computer data showed that the text of the only Q-initialed suras, 42 and 50, contained the same number of Q’s, 57 and 57. That was the first hint that a deliberate mathematical system might exist in the Quran.
Sura 50 is entitled “Q,” prefixed with “Q,” and the first verse reads, “Q, and the glorious Quran.” This indicated that “Q” stands for “Quran,” and the total number of Q’s in the two Q-initialed suras represents the Quran’s 114 suras (57 + 57 = 114 = 19 x 6). This idea was strengthened by the fact that “the Quran” occurs in the Quran 57 times.
Sura 42 consists of 53 verses, and 42 + 53 = 95 = 19 x 5.
Sura 50 consists of 45 verses, and 50 + 45 = 95, same total as in Sura 42.
The momentous discovery that “19” is the Quran’s common denominator became a reality in January 1974, coinciding with Zul-Hijjah 1393 A.H. The Quran was revealed in 13 B.H. (Before Hijrah). This makes the number of years from the revelation of the Quran to the revelation of its miracle 1393 + 13 = 1406 = 19 x 74. As noted above, the unveiling of the Miracle took place in January 1974. The correlation between 19 x 74 lunar years and 1974 solar years could not escape notice. This is especially uncanny in view of the fact that “19” is mentioned in Sura 74.
IV · WHY IT APPEARS IN MY WORK
XIX is not the destination; it is a pointer.
Years spent studying the QURAN’s 19-based mathematical system led me to use nineteen deliberately as a structural sign in my music and visual language.
That is why several albums contain 19 tracks; Zikr Symphony uses 19 principal works and a further 19-part structure inside the nineteenth work. The point is not to end attention on the number itself, but to turn curiosity back toward the QURAN.
V · EXAMINE IT YOURSELF
Do not stop at my words; go to the source.
This page is only an introduction. The numerical claims are presented in Appendix 1 and the verses in the supplied QURAN text. Check the counts yourself—the point is for the investigation not to end here.
